    My postman has informed me that depending on where you are that no post will arrive by Christmas now
    I posted a card on the 3rd 1st class it arrived yesterday
    It’s hit and miss
    Had a nice chat with him as he was on his way home from a double shift
    He said Royal Mail wants to concentrate on parcels as they don’t make much profit on post
    They have employed non contracted staff which get paid more but without any benefits
    So they can work the hours they want and then leave
    You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

    I posted a birthday card to the same place PJP lives on Wednesday and it arrived in time yesterday.

    Looks like it depends on which sorting offices the post goes through
    I have had some post arrive within 2 days of the postmark and other letters have taken over a week
    I’m thinking of buying and training some carrier pigeons lol

    I have received my swap and it is adorable. Also my ATC swap. But I haven't been on here for a few days for one reason or another and today I find it has all gone very quiet and no-one is posting photos. Is it OK to post or have I missed something? Also Roz has gone uncharacteristically quiet and I am very concerned about her - does anyone know anything?

    Sorry if this is treading on anyone's toes.

    I assumed that people are busy in the run-up to Christmas and so haven't got time to post at the moment. Hope everyone is OK.

    Things got in the way not even got my decorations up and I hardly made my cards this year except family and the ATC and Secret Santa swap , I used a box of cards I found unopened for everyone elsehangs head in shame
