April Swap

I’m hoping to make a start tomorrow
I have a lot of cards to make this week Birthdays swaps and a wedding card
Once I get going I can get a lot done
Hubby is now driving so he’s back to going to his lodge on a Monday so that means I can make a mess while he is out
We have nieces long awaited wedding next weekend so good job he can drive as wedding is in Wisbech and reception on the Lincolnshire border
Hope it’s stays dry

You two have made me feel SO much better LOL! I didn't want to make my swap item while I had Covid - actually there was no way I felt up to doing it anyway. But it's done now and has been sitting on my desk for days. I needed a suitably sized box to post it in. Luckily a C&C order arrived in a 12 by 12 pizza box! It's the perfect size. As my local post office has now closed I'll be arranging for it to be picked up by my postie so should be with my swapee by Wed/Thurs.

I was thrilled to get your name this time Borderline as I don’t think I’ve sent you anything in the monthly swap before. This was fun to make and a great chance to dip into my Graphic 45 stash and some of the things I got in the monthly box from Anna’s Craft Club. Anna seems to have disappeared from crafting but I still have a lot of the beautiful things from the boxes. I used the new sizzix die to make the book as a change from Paula’s . So pleased you like it!

My swap item has arrived - I think it's been here 2 days but Covid has left me confuddled so it might have been longer.

The pages are very bright and full of spring flowers so has lifted my spirits - just what I needed!
The pages are tag shaped so I don't know if it's what's known as a tag book. But Thank You Borderline - it's on display in my craft room.





I've covered up the inside page as it's a personal message from Borderline.

Haven't been able to get to the post yet as I'm invigilating mock exams every day up to Thursday - but it will go first class on Friday with the hope it'll appear on Saturday!

Mine to you CSF should arrive today or tomorrow. It was too big to go in the post box and as my local PO has now closed I had to arrange a collection from home.

IT'S ARRIVED PJP!!!
Just got back from work and couldn't work out why a big parcel was waiting for me as I have been good and not ordered anything recently (apart from some gold fingering to knit the braid on King Charles' uniform). The flower wreath is lovely and will be look great in my new crafting hut when we finally complete on the house. Getting close now, but lawyers seem to take forever. I'll take a photo in daylight as I want to do justice to the colours. Thank you so much :)
