    Default June/July swap received

This beauty from Borderline just arrived, featuring three moulded (Zuri?) steampunk butterflies on an embossed starry background.

The butterflies are highlighted with different colours of mica powders from blue to copper and all shades in between. Not sure if it shows up in the photo. The butterfly "tails" are absolutely perfect; I would expect them to be tricky to de-mould. What material did you use?

The inside features the same starry embossing folder on a gold pearlescent card.

    Thank you Borderline; it's beautiful.

Unfortunately the picture is a bit small to see all the detail in full
Borderline do you have a picture of your creation that you can post on the forum ?

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

Very glad you like it Mitzi. I imagined them as moths rather than butterflies so I put them on a starry background. It is a Zuri mould and I used Heartysoft air drying clay.

    My swap is almost done
I was a bit ambitious thinking I would get it done in a few days
Especially as I am waiting for my replacement specs I dropped and stepped on them so using an old pair which are not as strong
But it will be in the post very soon

How beautiful. They look like antique brooches.

Thanks for adding the larger photo Borderline. The detail in the moths is stunning.
