    Default January 2024 ATC Swap

We will be returning to Borderline's great idea throughout 2024 but I have chosen,’Out with the old, in with the new’ for our first theme of 2024. At least one old and one new die/stamp/stencil/paper/ or whatever from your stash please in your ATCs. Two ATCs to be with me by Wednesday January 25th 2024 please. Everyone welcome to join in the ATC swap.

    Great theme!!!
I’m currently working on ideas for the other ATC swap I’m in. The organiser knows how much I like a ‘recycled’ theme so this time it’s Christmas recycled. I’m saving all the wrappers and boxes from chocolates and advent packaging. We only have to make 2 ATCs but I’m known for going a bit nuts when it’s a recycled theme LOL!

I love this idea because it means I have an excuse to get something new! I'm due to go into a town with a Hobbycraft next week. Perfect.

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

How old is old and how new is new?

I have managed to rein in my purchasing in recent months but anything from 2023 is new, yes?

I don't have any inspiration right now but hopefully I'll come up with something.

New, something you haven’t had for ages, old -tried and tested.

I've always said that you interpret an ATC theme your way so you can never be wrong.
LJ if the 'new' item you have still feels 'new' to you then use it! Besides how would any of us know how long you've had an item or whether you've used it before?

Yes, I think PJP has struck the nail on the head , for me it is the diversity of approach that keeps the swap fresh and interesting.

I love the fact that we can do whatever we think suits the brief. The results are always amazing and diverse and I often think " I wish I'd thought of that"!
