January 2024 ATC Swap

I love the fact that we can do whatever we think suits the brief. The results are always amazing and diverse and I often think " I wish I'd thought of that"!

That reminds me of something that happened on the other ATC swap I'm in. The theme was 'pairs'. One of swappers must have remembered the theme wrongly because the ATC I received was a French street scene. When we asked her about she'd thought the theme was 'Paris' LOL!

Yes,I have stuck to the original rules for the swap on this forum Mitzi . Looking forward to getting them. Now that we have snowy roads here I will get on with mine as I won’t be going out.

We only had a light dusting overnight and it has already melted where the sun hits it. Sounds like you've got it worse.

Had a very frozen walk with the dogs this afternoon, a light dusting of snow persists. Posted my ATCs to go out at 9 am.

Worst frost we've had this year today.

We are very lucky here and rarely get very cold weather. I think that this year is the worst we've had since we've been here.

As you know my father in law lives just up the road from you so does my sister in law
They get better weather than we do in Hertfordshire
We have had really windy weather and hard frost for 5 days
The frost has finally gone and it’s a bright but chilly day
The birds have emptied all of the 8 seed and 7 fat ball feeders in just over 3 hours
I’ve never seen so many robins
And the pheasants were tapping on the patio door when I got up at 7am
As the water bowls were frozen

Posted mine a bit late sorry ,they went 1st class yesterday postie collected them yesterday morning at 8.30am
I posted a card to Dorset the same time which arrived so hopefully ATC’s have arrived
But the Way Royal mail is going who knows
