You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

Yes that’s why I suggested it LOL!
I’m going to try my hardest to get 2 items made in the next few days. Heard today my sister in law only has a few days to live. I want to help my brother and his (adult) children. My brother has brain damage from a car accident a few years ago. Only thing is they live near Exeter so I’ll need to stay for a few weeks. Trying to get ahead with a few things before I go.

Thanks everyone. I managed to get cards made for LJ and PP. Not my best efforts.
I’m at my brother’s now. The family are going to the funeral directors to make the arrangements. They’re being held up by things out of their control. They only had the green form from the GP yesterday - he was going to post it to them. God knows how long it would have taken to get to them. And the registrars can’t see them until next Tuesday. Deaths are supposed to be registered within 5 days - including weekends. So we can’t start telling companies until we get the death certificates next week.
Even getting hospital equipment picked up was a nightmare. They were supposed to arrive around 10am. 3:30 we get a phone call to say he’s on the way. We told him most of it was on the drive but the bed was in the house. He told us he was only supposed to pick up 2 small aids and had no room on the van. Luckily he was a nice guy and he phoned their office and got it sorted out. A local guy came with an empty van and took it all in one trip.
I feel so sorry for my niece, she’s nursed her mum through the palliative care period and now has to sort the rest out and people aren’t being very helpful.
