Thanks for running the swap
It keeps my little brain going
Trouble is I struggle with ideas
And end up rushing with deadline looming very close
But I won’t give up
As I need to use my stash
The Birthday swap is very small now
So is swap take up , that is the reason I made it bi monthly
But as long as people join it I will keep them going
As long as the forum keeps going
Which I worry might not be that long as it is only a few who seem to use it

Thanks to everyone who continues to join in with the swaps.
Here are the March ATCs that I received for the theme of things beginning with E:
Easter Eggs of course! from Borderline. Cute little chicks and I like the pink 'net' material at the back.
Embroidery from Little Jan. Beautifully stitched Jan.
Mitzi's next with [Pink] Elephants and Eclipse. I love the colours in the elephant one and the eclipse is very on topic LOL!
And then 4 from Pink Pig.
Elephant Herd and Elephant. Beautiful colours and the second one is PP's version of a Tonic die that I also used on one of my ATCs. I think a few of us made elephant ATCs!
Easter Bunny and Envelope. I hope that bunny isn't going to eat all that huge carrot in one go! The cute little envelope and letter are made from vellum. I also made an 'envelope' ATC.
Another great selection of ATCs. It's always good to see what ideas people came up with for the same theme.

I cheated with the embroidery it was done on a machine
Mind you it was more palaver than hand sewing
But my fingers are not as nimble as they used to be
Had to hand sew one of granddaughters favourite dresses that she made a hole in
Took ages as I kept dropping the needle and had to keep re threading it
But was worth it to see the smile on her face when it was done

Yes I did, in fact I nearly did elephants
As I could not think of anything
But then while I was making the others I found the perfect E design
Not sure who has received it
I had not used my machine since I made the Christmas swap for CSF back in DEC 2022
as I could not get it to work
Got some quotes for repairs but they were rather expensive £65 just to look at most said the repairs would be around £150+parts as they would have to order them in
In the end I rang brother help line
They said give me your email and phone number and we will call back as this is a premium number
They called back
Talked me through what the problem could be
It was the bobbin shaft that needed replacing
They sent me a new one and instructions how to replace it
Cost me only the original call and postage
It is the disneyPE180D
that I originally bought from QVC back in March 2002 but the extras they sent with it were not compatible and I had to send the Machine and the extras back and it never came back in stock
Managed to buy it from a shop £80 cheaper and they gave me a box of threads, backing fabric, spare bobbins and needles and 25% of an embroidery card
So I am glad really I had to send the QVC one back

All my lovely ATCs ;-
From Mitzi I received 'Eclipse' and '(Pink) Elephants'. Interesting techniques, textures and the pink papers are gorgeous.
From Pink Pig, three very jolly, colourful ATCs. 'Easter Chicks', 'Easter Bunny' and Elephant. Beautiful elephant paper behind the die cuts.
From Pyjama Princess came 'Envelope' and 'Elephant'. Nice die-cuts; the envelope even has the fold marks embossed on it. We did do well with the elephants, didn't we?
And last but not least from Little Jan, 'Embroidery'. Very special and I admire anyone who can thread a needle!
Thanks everyone. x
