    Default June 2024 Swap received

Little Jan sent me an amazing black and white card with touches of red and silver. If you look closely you'll see silver in the ladies head band and waistline of her dress. It has an Art Deco look about it and the silhouette style is perfect for the image.
    Thanks Jan I love it!

Just look at the beautiful flower Borderline has created, so dramatic.

Then on the inside this gorgeous paper. Thank you very much Borderline.

Here's my fabulous card from Pink Pig

It's all black and white, the red is just the background for the photo. Inside are the words to the song. Of course I had to go online and watch the video which is epic. It's made my week. Thank you, Pink Pig.

    I aim to please
I got Sting singing fields of gold buzzing round my head
After thinking of the August swap theme
Hubby thought it would be funny to play the theme from the Tetris game
I was addicted to that game until the tune in my head kept me awake every night
Now it’s giving me ear worm again

OMG Tetris! In NZ back in the early days I was doing a computing course and we discovered Tetris when it first came out. I used to see falling blocks whenever I closed my eyes.

Video games have come a long way
My daughter has all the new and old Mario games
The girls think they are weird
Back in the day we played them on the tv now it’s on little hand held screens
    Can’t be doing with that
So they plug it into the normal tv I still can’t get the hang of it lol

Crumbs that makes me remember lol. Still got a few of my sons old machines. Tried to get one to work a while ago. Looked like it was working but when I put the games in it didn't want to know. My favourite was the Megadrive and its games.
