    Default April swap

    The theme is Spring

It?s has been lovely the last few days I managed a hours light gardening yesterday
The snow drops are still out in the shady parts, crocus, daffs are also blooming
Male pheasants are building up their harems , 1 has 5 ladies but the the other males are trying to flatter them away,so funny this time of year as it?s the only time the males fight the rest of the year they strut about like a load of teenage age boys
While the ladies gather in a group watching and look like they are laughing at them as the make litte noises with there heads bobbing and down
Just like a group of giggling teenage girls
Waiting for blue tits to start making a nest in the camera bird box but they don?t start that till the oak tree is in leaf and then start laying a few weeks after when the oak moth caterpillars hatch
Hoping we get a successful brood this year as last year they abandoned the nest
Spring is my favourite time of year where nature is at its best

You don't have to be as mad as a box of frogs to be here but it helps:mysmilie_13:

As always we are well behind. The snowdrops only fully opened a few days ago and the daffs are only just showing yellow buds.
But the weather has perked up. We just got back from a 6 mile walk along the old railway line Trail, which was lovely.

Our snowdrops are open and seem to be far more than last year. Our daffs are like yours Borderline but a couple are fully out.

I am hoping to be in but our printer is giving us severe grief. OH has given up on it and ordered a new one so if it's here in time and behaving I should be ok.

The daffodils are all out and looking good. The new printer is happy so I am in for the swap, although I haven't started anything yet.
