    Default First ever bag make

Well I finally got nearly a day to myself today, so I thought I would make the Hamble and Jemima doggy bag, it was quite straight forward well almost, it took me about 4 hours in total but that's just because I'm slow lol, but I didn't want to make it wrong so I was extra caustious,

That's wonderful, Angie! How clever you are. I'm rubbish at sewing, or perhaps I need to get out my sewing machine and have a play? Oh for the time to do it though :)

It looks lovely Angela. I love the dogs. Did you have to cut it out from scratch or was the cutting done for you? I have ordered the book you mentioned with the Kath Kidston material so I'm looking forward to that arriving.

That's really cute Angie. It's nice to make something that you can use.

Thanks, GP you have to cut the material out for this one but it's dead easy, only the body though, the handles you just measeaure 4 lengths of material

That looks great - I had a look at these bag patterns a few weeks ago but I can't sew and can't use a machine so it would have been a waste of money for me but it looks the business :o

Even if it is simple I always think the cutting out adds disproportionately to the time it takes and I always take quite a bit of time the first time I do something like this. I really do like the idea of these bags and I notice they have added cushions and more bags to the site.

I'm the same GP, but it was easy, honest, much easier than clothing patterns, I noticed they'd added more stuff
