She specifically wanted butterflies..... i had to snatch time here and there (I'm being very slovenly today as I am supposed to be working...and not on the forum!!)

Very pretty BF & of course Grandad should have butterflies on his card, I do like a child that knows their own mind......! LOL
When your horse follows you without being asked, when he rubs his head on yours, and when you look at him and feel a tingle down your spine...you know you are loved.

nope - just straight onto the paper that i stuck to the card... first time I had used those stamps - I think it's why it went a little grainy - but I like the look of that :-) (they are 2 stamps that happen to have the same font, but are slightly different in size....)

@kitten_with_claws - YES she certain does!! but she was really really pleased with the card - though it was a little difficult to write on - so she wrote on the bottom! might have to come up with an insert solution to an easel card some day.....!

is it normal to think about a card and how you're going to make it for much longer than it actually takes to make? AND I am SO tight! I hate wasting anything and keep all the little bits I cut....?!! I hate to waste anything...

    I like it too :D

I can sometimes take longer planning than making a card

It takes time and great effort to learn not to keep every scrap, oh and the fact of running out of space

    It's a lovely card.
I spend ages thinking what to do, much, much longer than it takes to make, then get an idea for something completely different when I'm halfway through and start again!
