    Default Clarity Stamps Retreats

Did anyone else go to the Clarity Stamps open day at Crowborough today?
I went for a couple of hours and now feel much more confident about using the Gelli Plate I bought a few months ago. Didn't buy anything as I've got lots of unused Clarity stuff, but came away with lots of new ideas. On the strength of that I've booked a two day Clarity retreat on my birthday as a present to myself.
Has anyone on this forum been on one in the past?

The Clarity retreat I am going on starts tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to two days of non-stop crafting and getting to grips with Barbara's style of stamping. I've been a member of the Clarity club, but good though the monthly packs are it's not the same as being shown.
I want to a Little Claire class in Crawley last year and I now feel far more confident about using their stamps with alcohol pens.

I'm sure you'll have a lovely time. I'd love to go on some sort of retreat, don't think I could cope with Barbara for 2 days though!

As it is my birthday tomorrow I've bought cupcakes for everyone. Hope the sugar rush doesn't make Barbara even more hyper!

I would love to go on a craft retreat but it's just too expensive for me with flights and accommodation coming from Guernsey, nice if someone would come here!

Had a lovely day - over the course of a whole day Barbara is calmer and she is a good and encouraging teacher. Today was different techniques with ink and specialty papers in the morning and using Groovi plates to design something more individual. Tomorrow is all about paint and the Geli plate, which we've been warned will be messy! :)

I would like a craft retreat in Guernsey as well - it is my favourite holiday destination as we live near Gatwick and it is so quick to fly there. We had our honeymoon there and still go back regularly for our wedding anniversaries. Add in a craft retreat as well and I'd be a very happy bunny.
