I started by stamping the background and then used my Gemini Foil Press machine to do the gold foiling. The rose image is what CC call a foil stamp die because it doesn't die cut the image only 'stamps' it in foil.
After using the foil for the original image you're left with a ghost image of clear plastic with the gold foil around the edge.
I stamped the background using the same coloured ink and stamp as the first ATC but when I placed the foil on top I didn't like the background showing through the plastic coating - it was too busy. So I foiled it onto orange cardstock but it looked too flat and not very interesting. So I then placed the foil stamp die behind the orange card roughly where I thought it would line up with the cut out image. This was run through my Gemini Junior so it would emboss the rose on the orange card.
I sent in 5 ATCs - 3 were original foil pressings and 2 the reverse/waste. I messed up the first reverse/waste one because I hadn't lined the die up properly.
Off to have my tea now LOL!

As Mitzi did not get one of PJP’s lovely ATCs , I will send the last one to her along with the October swap .
Unlike most people I don't get my rubbish collected from the end of my property. I have to take it down the street, across the road and onto the pavement. It was pouring with rain and pitch dark - no street lights in my street. By the time I got back in the house my coat was dripping wet and is now hanging over the bath to drip dry. Glamorous I think not LOL!
